the day’s weather

We went shopping, bumped into a playmate, had scrambled eggs for lunch, finally planted the peas and beans, dressed up, made brownies, found lots of things to do with a tub of plastic food clips, caught up with a far away friend, had a surprise teatime visit from another…

It was as normal as our days ever are, a flighty mix of function and frivolity, indoors and outdoors, special moments and mundane ones, excitement and frustration, laughter and tears…

As the day drew to a close, I saw its vicissitudes reflected in the sky:

Ordinary changeability made spectacular.
